Scentsy Launch Party

I hosted my first, “personal” Scentsy party this Saturday. It turned out better than expected. I have no problem showing and selling Scentsy products to people I don’t know, but I find it much harder to try and sell to friends. However, like I said before in previous posts, Scentsy sells itself! Once you put a Scentsy Candle Warmer in front of someone there is no need to try to sell it. People are just so receptive to these amazing scented candles. I’m sure some of my friends were like “ok we’ll come to your party, but were not buying anything”. Which might of been the stance I would have taken if I was invited to a candle party. Ha! Scentsy stopped them in their tracks! Once they walked through the door they were done. The Sweet smell of “Enchanted Mist” hit em first. As they walked to the next room the wonderful smell of “Spruce & Citrus” got em. Downstairs we were melting the woodsy smell of “Clove and White Pepper”. All the guys like this one! We all had a few drinks before the presentation. Not needed to convince them to buy. Just a nice added touch for an adults only party. We all sat down after most of the guests arrived – Some people were coming later. On purpose I bet! I introduced Scentsy to them and showed them how the Scentsy Candle Warmer worked. During which Basket Testers were being passed around. Everyone loved it! Even the guy friends who I thought would of got up and left before the presentation was even over to get another beer. Scentsy Was a Hit! My Friends and Family were more receptive than I thought. So if I can sell Scentsy to my Friends I can sell these to any one! Scensty Sells Itself!

Thanks for this! I am doing my launch party this Thursday and have found that I kindof feel guilty asking my friends because I used to dodge all the “parties”. I am starting to get really nervous that no one is going to want to buy, so this was inspirational to me!
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Amy
